Alicia Amanda Vikander is a Swedish actress and former dancer. Nice enough name though I personally would never use it- at least not for any of my children. I just prefer other names over it. If I did use it, I would use this spelling. I prefer the spelling of Alicia over Alisha. Alisha looks a bit cheap.

My name is Alicia and I like my name. It's not overly common for a 39 year old. It is pronounced a-LEESH-a, but when I was in Norway they pronounced it a-LISS-ia and I answered to it rather then correcting them all the time. I didn't mind. Only a few people have shortened my name. I had an English teacher call me "Allie" because we had two Alicia's in the class, and I have had a few friends call me "Al". Al is most common among my male cowboy friends.

My driver's ed teacher called me Allison the entire time I was in class no matter how many times I corrected him. I usually advise people against using this name just because there are so many spelling and pronunciation issues with it.
